Sacraments of the Church
The Seven Sacraments are sacred signs of God’s grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church. They mark the milestones of our spiritual journey—strengthening, healing, and sustaining us in faith.
Sacraments of Christian Initiation
Baptism
Baptism is the gateway to the Christian life. Through water and the Holy Spirit, we are reborn as children of God. By Baptism we become members of the Church, the Body of Christ.
Baptism is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 12:00pm. To schedule a baptism: Contact office at office@stbernadette.us or 781-963-1327. Adults seeking Baptism or who want to learn more about the Catholic Faith should reach out to Deacon Thomas P. Burke deacontom2000@yahoo.com.

Confirmation
In Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.
Confirmation is ordinarily received in 8th grade. If you are middle school or high school student who wishes to be Confirmed, please contact office at office@stbernadette.us or 781-963-1327. Eucharist
The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life where we receive Jesus Christ—body, blood, soul, and divinity.
Preparation for First Communion usually happens in grade two. To prepare for your child for First Communion, please contact office at office@stbernadette.us or 781-963-1327.

Sacraments of Healing
Christ, the physician of our soul and body, instituted these sacraments because the new life that he gives us in the sacraments of Christian initiation can be weakened and even lost because of sin. Therefore, Christ willed that his Church should continue his work of healing and salvation by means of these two sacraments.
Reconciliation (Confession)
Come receive God’s boundless mercy and healing love.
Saturdays from 3:30 pm – 3:50 pm or by appointment
